Just as any feminist, I like to be intellectually challenged every now and then. There’s quite something about being presented with a touted absolute fact or premise and grapple with it until forming a counterargument or gaining knowledge from what its espouses.

Ii is quite an experience to have an “aha!” moment when the most sought-after answer ended up being right under your nose. To be challenged intellectually by the written word is a humbling and rewarding experience. These books can give you that.
