Plaine’s eco-friendly shampoo and conditioner bottles are one of my favorite features. Plaine products come in refillable shampoo and conditioner bottles. To refill, simply order an eco-friendly refill bottle, insert the pump, and return the old (the company bears the cost). Aside from reusing bottles, the shampoo and conditioner are designed to be eco-friendly—no sulfates or parabens and 100% vegan. Ingredients include aloe, coconut seed, green tea, and others. It doesn’t lather as much as SLS shampoos but leaves hair nourished and smooth.

my hair detangled, silky and smooth. It is easy to tell which bar is which because of the color difference and the sudsy feel of the shampoo. The shampoo bar creates as much lather as a traditional shampoo but is eco-friendly and free of harmful additives. I have long blond hair, which maintains its color and softness with HiBar. The smell is better than going to the salon and the design of the bar is easy to hold and doesn’t take up too much space. There is an unscented version for those sensitive to smell. The bar lasts as long as a typical shampoo bottle, I would say about 40-50 washes or so, depending on the length of your hair. Make sure to keep it in a dry place when you are not using it. As an eco-blogger, I love the packaging and the environmental, plastic-free initiatives that HiBar is participating in.
