Faith In Nature Coconut Shampoo Review:

My hair has been through a lot recently in the form of harsh bleaching, pink dye and back to bleaching and I am beginning to worry that it may never recover.

My hair has become dry, straw like, dull and just plain weak looking. It relies on heavy conditioners and treatments to even look half decent. I have been having a few issues with my hair recently with the ends going out of control and my scalp not recovering. With my hair being so neglected and out of control, I thought I would give this Faith In Nature Coconut Shampoo a go to try and hydrate my hair a little as well as help my scalp recover a bit.

Upon first squeeze of this product and getting that initial whiff of it, I knew I would love it for being such a product but also because of the gorgeous smell of coconut. I love anything coconut, I normally use coconut based products from the supermarket to detangle my hair because just the smell gives me enough of an obsession that I have to use it. Before using this shampoo, all I had on my hair was my usual conditioner to try and undo the damage I had done in the past weeks. I applied a significant amount of the shampoo, but before I applied it, I took my time with two application of conditioner to see if it just applied onto my hair alone would give it enough to be used on its own as a shampoo, but it was just not good enough. I decided that I would section my hair in three different parts and then apply the product. I really only needed about five pumps of product to do the entire job.

I really loved the smell of this product, the scent was lovely and like I said, just sweet enough to make me want to use it again. I love products that are sweet and fruity smelling just like the name of the product. As I was applying the shampoo onto my hair, I realized how little I actually needed to rinse my hair with to achieve a full feeling, within the first use I knew I would be repurchasing it. I normally struggle with a shampoo, needing to use more and more to get my hair feeling clean and fresh.

I really loved this product, it has an extremely affordable price, around the £5 mark, from all high street shops so it was not expensive.

At first I thought it might be too simple for my hair, but it left my hair feeling amazing and cared for and my hair was not heavy and weighed down at all. It felt like I had just used the perfect shampoo that just did not leave any hair product build up at all. My hair was really hydrated and felt amazing to touch and the smell was just delightful.

My hair is long and very thick, but after trying this product my hair felt like it was thinning out from the pure goodness of the product. I love when shampoo products say it thickens the hair and makes it feel stronger but this actually feels like it is working.

I would definitely recommend this product if you have a really dry or neglected scalp, I feel like the shampoo and conditioner would be just the ticket for you. They are not too fragrant, they are vegan friendly and they are really good value for the money.
