I have used the GuppyFriend bag for several years. It was developed for European markets, where most people have top-loading washers which spin in the same direction all the time.. In the USA many of us still have agitator washing machines which do not spin uni-directionally. I have found that lint in my GuppyFriend bags is not collected at the zipper end of the bag, as was illustrated in initial advertisements. With lint located in several spots on the bag after using an agitator washer, I find it helpful to douse the zipped bag in water with the zipper end down so that all of the lint works its way toward the zipper end. When it has dried (with the zipper end down), the lint is easy to retrieve from the zipper area. Environmentally best to use water drawn for other purposes.
