A rich shampoo which uses gentle ingredients to properly cleanse your scalp and to purge the hair of oil and dirt. Panthenol and biotin are used as they strengthen the hair, they wrap around the whole hair shaft to increase volume, increase hair cortex elasticity and to decrease breakage. To add more bounce and luster natural plant proteins have been added. Using this shampoo should help your hair feel and look naturally thicker, with a healthier shine. Excludes phthalates, SLS and parabens.

Directions: On wet hair, gently massage shampoo into hair and scalp. Rinse and repeat if desired. Follow with JÄSÖN® Thin to Thick® Extra Volume Conditioner. Caution: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid direct contact with eyes. If rash or irritation occurs, stop use and consult a physician.

Jason Natural Thin To Thick Shampoo Review:

The packaging:
The bottle is nice and simple with a flip lid but I have a complaint about the lack of main advice on what the product is meant to do and how to use the product.

That said, the bottle’s clear plastic makes it easy to see the product whereas I do like the fact that the bottle is 100% recyclable as come January 2014 we will have to recycle more products.

The product itself is not too thick nor too thin, it’s quite easy to squeeze out of the bottle and the product itself is a white gel which is virtually clear when on the hands.

Product Claims:
This is probably the only time I’ve seen the product claims printed on the back of the bottle.

Suggested claims would have been nice.

What’s good about the product:

The shampoo is quite easy on the hands as it’s not thick and not thin and the shampoo is a white gel which is virtually clear on the hair and the product itself is not really liquid.

First Impressions:
My hair felt clean and I was able to brush my hair after the application and the best part is that my hair does feel and look thicker and fuller.

I really like the smooth feeling and look after the application of the shampoo. My hair felt softer and smoother.

The bottle is easy to hold in one hand and with a 50p size blob of the shampoo you are able to lather up the hair. The blob of shampoo itself is quite big so you don’t necessarily have to have too much shampoo on the hairs and with a massaging motion, your hair will lather up well and the smell isn’t overpowering.

How Does The Product Perform?

This is my hair after the first use before the application of the conditioner:

Although I have textured and coloured (deep shade of brown) hair, the shampoo lathered up really well and easily and I was able to rinse the shampoo with ease and with the moroccan argan oil shampoo and conditioner, the shampoo did not cling to the hairs.

The shampoo did not irritate my scalp and my scalp felt clean as well. As for the fuller sensation, I think I need more time to comment at this point.

After the first use, my hair felt smooth and had a nice smell and the hair felt silky and was less dry.

Final Thoughts:
I am really happy with the results but for me, I don’t know if this is because the shampoo or the combination of the shampoo and conditioner.

As for the fuller sensation, I think I need more time to comment at this point, I noticed slightly more volume but not by a huge margin but I think I need more time to see the results even better.

My hair did feel shinier, the texture has improved and the hair is much easier to manage and whether this is because of this particular shampoo, together with the conditioner my hair does look and feel thicker.

I like the clean smell of the shampoo and I had no reaction to the shampoo whatsoever and the product is easy to wash off and rinse off and for a deep shade of brown, the shampoo washes off well with no negative colour reaction.

I like the fact that the product is thick and easy to use in that you don’t need to apply too much shampoo at one time and it is not runny and the pigment of the shampoo is clear and to the point as well as it does not leave any colour residue on the hair and scalp and after the first wash, I feel confident that my hair is cleaner and it feels cleaner and softer and the best part is that it feels thicker.

I find the shampoo bottle to be a tad too small as a bottle like that can easily last a month to two months if you only choose to use the product once a week and a bottle like that should be sold for at least £5.60 to £5.95…that is my personal opinion.
