Rosita EVCLO is real Norwegian cod liver oil that is fresh, raw & handcrafted from wild livers using a very rare ancient extraction technique which uses nature to separate the oil from its liver. No chemicals, solvents and mechanical devices are ever used during the extraction process. The oil is completely unrefined and produced under the total absence of heat, a process that protects its nutritional value.
Rosita Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil Review:
The product comes in a very smart glass bottle with a generous amount of product. The product itself is a white, milky substance – the look and feel of it immediately reminds you of something made by chapatti, the world’s oldest living food.
The texture of EVCLO is very creamy and similar to coconut oil. It also has a vaguely ‘fish oil’ kind of taste to it – almost a fishy smell – but that smell only lasts a few seconds when you initially open the bottle.
At the time of purchase, I was told that the product would take 4-6 weeks for it to be fully mature and should be taken 2-3 times a day between meals with a glass of water.
I started taking rosita cod liver oil after serving my first plate of their guilt-free cod – they offer a limited edition cod (called “The Proper Cod”), but I ended up not finishing the plate and getting enough to go around. So, after my first meal of cod, I decided to start taking rosita cod liver oil.
My first impression was that the oil contained a mineral amount of something in the bottle, but I couldn’t find the words for what I was seeing. The next day I emailed Rosita, and they told me the product contains calcium.
The days went by, and the bottle was emptying. It took a few weeks to finish the bottle, but now I’m still taking rosita cod liver oil and I have very good results so far.
Note (added July 2012): The company follows up with a phone call, and asked if I had had any adverse effects while taking the product. So far I haven’t.
Before being told about the calcium and the mineral content of the oil in the bottle, I was still very skeptical. I didn’t believe that it really contained fish oil.
But now, even if I do not end up finishing the bottle, I will not be returning to any other brand anytime soon.
Rosita EVCLO contains exactly 40mg of cod liver oil per gram – 2 times the minimum standard recommendation: 12mg.
In the above chart, you will see that there are claims for 400mg, 600mg and 800mg in one serving! – well, that’s enough to scare you, huh? – although I’m sure their products are securely certified and processed under the highest government standards, I personally will continue to take rosita cod liver oil in the level I’m taking it now, and will not be increasing my intake (my adrenal system will thank the rosita company for that). I’ve received positive feedback from my customers who have been taking the product in my shop as well – and I’d like to mention that the product has a compelling story to tell, for which I would like to thank the company (separate from my personal experience).

These are handcrafted and fresh cod liver oil molecules hand crafted by themselves – not handcrafted by a machine, like most of the other companies.
When your precious oil molecules are handcrafted by themselves, they will turn into a rich, natural liquid and not into a solid. Then they are turned into an oil by the process of cold-pressed cod liver oil production, with no additives.
Rosita EVCLO is 100% pure, unrefined cod liver oil, which is a product from nature, harvested from wild cod livers.
