Before Success by K’bana Blaq

This product was recommended by Lamont Sullivan from 4-U-NiquePublishing

I recommend this book because it takes the reader on the journey of the award-winning musician K’bana Blaq. We see how K’bana deals with his sexuality, his mother’s passing, and trying to make it in the music industry. This is an inspiring piece of work. This book serves to inspire growth through tough times, overcoming fears and staying in love with life, while savoring the beauty that each day brings. This book is the beginning of self-discovery with no end Letting life be a fantastic journey instead of a graveyard of potential.” -K’BANA BLAQ

Pride Leadership by Dr. Steven Yacovelli

The Rebellious Widow by Jill Johnson-Young

This product was recommended by Jill Johnson-Young from TheRebelliousWidow

There are few books that prepare a couple for a terminal illness, death and recovery. Even fewer that focus on reorganizing and recovery, rather than grief being forever. And none for LGBT couples. This one is not just for the community, but it includes us and is written by a lesbian widow (twice) now married to a funeral director. It is not an autobiography but it includes stories about couples facing that loss together. It is also humorous, and provides a sense of hope. It has downloads available for anyone on the website to do the work in the book or on their own. The first chapter is available on the website.

Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan

This product was recommended by Joey Panek from Howboutjoey

I recommend this book because it’s a great coming of age, first love story, but it’s set in a fictionalized world where sexuality isn’t a divisive issue. Even though the book was written over 15 years ago, it imagines a time that I hope we’re getting closer to, where teenagers can be comfortable in whatever their sexuality. The book has a fantasy aspect, but it addresses the coming of age story with realism.

52 Fridays by KamalaDevi McClure

This product was recommended by Jackie Murphy from N/A

A polyamorous theater director and her submissive student blur the line between role play and reality, during their kinky play dates. Curious about polyamory, Violet, a sexually adventurous bisexual starts taking a weekly acting class from her boyfriend’s former girlfriend, Raven. Upon discovering their mutual interest in kink, the two women begin a D/S power exchange. As their intricate web of dark fantasies grows complicated, they must navigate agreements with their male partners. Will group sex be the glue to hold it together? Can their perverted fantasies be transmuted into performance art or does the dramatization of childhood sexual trauma run the risk of re-wounding? Indulge in 52 erotic fantasies where these women transmute jealousy with tantric alchemy, include new lovers, and even sharing their sexuality with strangers.
