Wet n Wild is a proud member of Peta’s “Beauty Without Bunnies” program, which seeks to put an end to animal testing. Unlike many brands, Wet n Wild has never tested on animals throughout any point in their production. According to their website, “wet n wild NEVER tests on animals, and we are super proud of this. We never have, and we never will. We believe in beauty without cruelty first!” They also have an extensive list of completely vegan products.
Physician’s Formula
Physician’s Formula is listed on PETA’s list of cruelty-free skincare brands. Instead of testing on animals, the company confirmed in an email that they use, “Alternate methods as ‘in-vitro’ testing, human clinical evaluations and human use-trials under the supervision of a Board Certified Dermatologists.” This also means they don’t sell their products in China or other countries where animal testing is required by law.
Covergirl
As of November 2018, Covergirl has committed to being cruelty-free. According to their Instagram post announcing the news, “COVERGIRL does not test on animals and now we’re Leaping Bunny certified by @crueltyfreeintl, which means we’re Cruelty Free across ALL our products, EVERYWHERE we’re sold!” They’ve also partnered with Cruelty Free International to end animal testing globally and advocate for regulatory change.

The brand e.l.f. signed PETA’s cruelty-free pledge to confirm they don’t test on animals to create their products. In addition to their cruelty-free status, their extensive product line is also completely vegan—including their brushes and false eyelashes, which are made of synthetic materials instead of animal hair.
